• Fr. Graebe

  After serving Holy Family Regional Catholic School and St. John Fisher Parish as a seminarian during the 2017-2018 academic year, Father Graebe retured to the HFRCS community in 2025 as Pastoral Administrator of the Church of St. Joseph.

  Drawing upon the Jesuit philosophy of cura personalis ("care for the whole person"), which he encountered during his studies at the University of Scranton, Father Graebe is committed to fostering the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of every student. This commitment reflects HFRCS's mission to educate the whole child, helping each student grow in knowledge, character, and faith.

• Fr. Otto

  Father Otto was born in Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, PA. Amazingly, he was born wearing a Roman collar. His Vocation was very clear from the beginning. Sacred Heart is true; obviously, the collar part is not. Father does remember the exact moment however that he first thought that he might be called to be a priest. He was 22 years old, working as a chemical engineer and praying about whether he was meant to marry a girl he had met at Penn State. At the time he was at an international Marian Shrine and he thought, "Oh my God, maybe Mary is calling me to be a priest!?" Mary was calling him, and he left his job as a sales engineer and went into St. Charles Seminary in August 1991, and was ordained a priest in 1997. Father was excited about being a priest in 1997, and he is just as excited if not more about it in 2026. He delights in nothing more than bringing Jesus to people and people to Jesus. He loves his assignment at St. John Fisher and his role in the Regional School of Holy Family and he looks forward to serving here for many years to come.

• Sharon McDermond

  For Sharon McDermond, faith is a living, breathing commitment felt in every corner of her home and community. Alongside her husband, Mike, Sharon has built a life rooted in the heart of St. Joseph’s Church and a deep-seated belief in the power of Catholic education. As a mother of five children who all grew up through the halls of Holy Family Regional Catholic School, she understands firsthand the gift of a faith-filled foundation. Sharon joins the board with a heart full of purpose: to ensure the Church remains a warm, loving embrace for our children, guiding them with care as they step forward to become the compassionate leaders our future needs.

  In addition to her devotion to her faith, Sharon has dedicated her professional career to advocating for the elderly. Sharon is the Director of Continuing Care at Maris Grove Senior Living. She is dedicated to empowering organizations to thrive in an increasingly complex and competitive landscape. With her strategic guidance, unwavering commitment to excellence, and passion for improving the lives of seniors, Sharon is a catalyst for transformation and a driving force for positive change in the senior living industry.

  Sharon has a proven track record of board leadership. She has given her time to St. Joseph’s Pastoral Council and Pastoral Support, and served a ten-year tenure on the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing Home Administrators (including four years as Chairwoman). She also brings current, practical governance experience to the table as an elected Board Member of the Southwestern Delaware County Municipal Authority.

• Anthony Elia

  Anthony E. Elia has proudly dedicated his career to Catholic education as a student, teacher, and educational leader. A strong believer in the mission of Catholic schools, he is both an advocate for and a product of Catholic education, having attended St. Laurence School in Upper Darby before graduating from Monsignor Bonner High School. Those formative experiences instilled in him a lifelong commitment to faith, academic excellence, and servant leadership.

  Mr. Elia began his career in education as a Catholic school teacher in 2003 and has since served in a variety of leadership roles, including Assistant Principal and Principal. He currently serves as Principal of Holy Family Regional Catholic School, where he leads the school's academic, operational, and faith formation initiatives while fostering a culture rooted in Catholic identity, high expectations, and continuous improvement. He has more than 12 years of experience as a school administrator and is recognized for his work in instructional leadership, faculty development, curriculum and assessment, and building strong partnerships with families and parish communities.

  Mr. Elia is currently a University of Notre Dame ACE Principal Academy Cabrini Fellow. He also holds multiple Pennsylvania instructional certifications and master's degrees in education. Above all, he is passionate about ensuring that every child receives an academically excellent education rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, preparing students to lead lives of faith, service, and purpose.

• Brian Bonanni

  Brian Bonanni is a marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of experience. He’s used his passions for writing, communications, project management, and customer-focused research to help various companies throughout his career including Vanguard, Capital One, and JPMorganChase. He’s an avid long-distance runner and history buff who loves his family and his dog, Reggie. Faith is a major part of his life as he grew up locally in Glen Mills and attended Catholic schools from kindergarten to college including St. Thomasthe Apostle, Archmere Academy, and La Salle University.

• Mike Civera

  Michael Civera serves as Senior Supervisor of Corporate Facilities at Wawa, where he oversees corporate facilities operations, store support, and fire and life safety initiatives. He previously served as Director of Facilities for the Chichester School District, leading facilities management, capital improvement projects, and safety operations.

  With extensive experience in facilities management, strategic planning, and operational leadership, Michael brings valuable expertise to the Board of Limited Jurisdiction. His commitment to excellence and responsible stewardship helps ensure that Holy Family Regional Catholic School provides a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students, faculty, and families.

  Grounded in his Catholic faith, Michael believes that every child deserves the opportunity to grow in a Christ-centered environment where they can flourish academically, spiritually, and personally. He is honored to support the mission of Holy Family Regional Catholic School and is committed to helping preserve and strengthen Catholic education for future generations.

• Jim Fedena

  Jim Fedena is honored to serve on the Holy Family Regional Catholic School Board of Limited Jurisdiction. A lifelong Catholic, he believes that faith, service, and education are essential in forming young people to become compassionate, faith-filled leaders.

  For the past 28 years, Jim has dedicated his career to public education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. He currently serves as Assistant Principal at Talley Middle School in Wilmington, Delaware. In addition, he has spent 28 years coaching CYO athletics in the Diocese of Wilmington, mentoring countless young people and helping them develop both on and off the field.Jim and his wife, Courtney, joined the Church of St. Joseph after enrolling their daughter, Carly, at Holy Family Regional Catholic School. They are also the proud parents of their son, Nick. As both an educator and parent, Jim is deeply committed to the mission of Catholic education and is grateful for the opportunity to help Holy Family Regional Catholic School continue to provide a faith-filled environment where students can thrive academically, spiritually, and personally.

• Kim Lake

  Kimberly Lake's lifelong commitment to Catholic education began with her own faith-filled upbringing. She attended Our Lady of Grace School and Bishop Conwell High School in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Kimberly and her husband, Eric, reside in Boothwyn with their two daughters, both proud graduates of Holy Family Regional Catholic School.

  As both a parent and dedicated volunteer, Kimberly has devoted many years to supporting Holy Family's mission. She served as Home & School Association President for six years, Vice Chair of the Board of Limited Jurisdiction for three years, and Board Chair for three years. She also volunteers at Cardinal O'Hara High School and remains actively involved in the life of St. John Fisher Parish.Professionally, Kimberly works in Legal and Compliance for Fulton Bank, specializing in regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance. She brings valuable expertise in governance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership to the Board.Kimberly believes Catholic schools provide far more than an excellent education—they form students who are grounded in faith, guided by strong moral values, and prepared to serve others with compassion and integrity. She is passionate about giving back to the community that has enriched her own family and is committed to ensuring Holy Family Regional Catholic School continues to flourish for generations to come.

• Christine McCarthy

  Christine McCarthy retired from Wawa after a distinguished 32-year career as a Public Relations and Communications Manager, where she specialized in strategic communications, community relations, and brand engagement. Throughout her career, she developed a passion for building relationships and sharing meaningful stories—skills she now uses to serve parish communities.

  Christine and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of three children, all of whom received a Catholic education from elementary school through high school, beginning at the former St. Joseph Catholic School. Their family's experience instilled a deep appreciation for the lasting impact of faith-based education and the important role Catholic schools play in forming young people.

  An active parish volunteer, Christine serves in a variety of ministries at the Church of St. Joseph and leads communications for Nativity BVM Parish in Media. She also assists other parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia with communications, helping to share the Good News and strengthen parish engagement.

  Christine is honored to serve on the Holy Family Regional Catholic School Board of Limited Jurisdiction. Guided by her Catholic faith, she is committed to supporting the mission of Catholic education and helping ensure that future generations of students are formed as compassionate disciples, confident leaders, and faithful witnesses to Christ. She believes that a strong Catholic education not only prepares children for academic success but also equips them to lead lives of integrity, service, and faith.

• Maureen McKenna

  Maureen McKenna's lifelong commitment to Catholic education began as a student, attending Catholic schools from kindergarten through college. For the past 22 years, she has served as an educator in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, a vocation that began at St. Joseph Catholic School. She currently teaches second grade at St. Mary Magdalen School and serves on the Archdiocesan Curriculum Committee, helping to shape academic excellence across the Archdiocese.

  Maureen, her husband, Ryan, and their daughter, Maeve, are active parishioners of the Church of St. Joseph. She serves as a lector and is a member of the parish Stewardship Committee. Guided by her faith and passion for Catholic education, Maureen is committed to helping Holy Family Regional Catholic School provide students with an outstanding academic foundation rooted in Gospel values.

• Vic Smith

  Victor Smith is a Vice President in the Tax Compliance division of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Private Bank, where he oversees tax compliance for alternative investments serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families. With more than a decade of experience in tax compliance, financial governance, and risk management, he specializes in interpreting complex regulations, strengthening internal controls, and developing practical solutions that support sound organizational decision-making.

  A decorated U.S. Air Force combat veteran, Victor is recognized for his leadership, discipline, integrity, and commitment to excellence. His military service and professional career have instilled in him a deep appreciation for accountability, stewardship, and service to others.A devoted Catholic, husband, and father of three boys, Victor is passionate about supporting Catholic education and helping form future generations of faithful, compassionate, and ethical leaders. He is honored to serve on the Holy Family Regional Catholic School Board of Limited Jurisdiction and is committed to advancing the school's mission of academic excellence rooted in the Catholic faith.

• Karen Rizzo-Stephenson

  Karen Rizzo-Stevenson is a licensed psychologist with more than 40 years of experience in the mental health field, working with children, families, and adults in a variety of clinical settings. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to fostering education, collaboration, and problem-solving while empowering individuals to build confidence, independence, and self-esteem. Her professional experience provides a thoughtful and compassionate perspective that is invaluable in supporting students and families.

  A cradle Catholic, Karen has been married for more than 40 years and is the proud mother of two adult children. She is a faithful parishioner of the Church of St. Joseph and actively participates in the Divine Mercy Cenacle at St. Katharine Drexel Parish. Karen's Catholic faith is the foundation of her life and continues to inspire her commitment to serving others.Karen earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Joseph's University and a master's degree in Education from Temple University. She is passionate about Catholic education and believes that parents, educators, and parish communities share the responsibility of creating a nurturing, faith-filled environment where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally. She is honored to serve on the Board of Limited Jurisdiction and to support the mission of Holy Family Regional Catholic School.

• Charles Streeper

  Charles "Chalie" Streeper serves as the Head of the Facilities Committee on our School Board. He is a loving husband to his wife, Regina, and a proud "girl dad" to their four daughters.

  Chalie grew up in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, where he attended St. Matthew's School and Father Judge High School, receiving a Catholic education from kindergarten through high school. After graduating, he gave back to his parish by coaching the St. Matthew's CYO varsity football team.

  Chalie met his wife while working at Bancroft, a nonprofit residential treatment organization serving children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While working as a direct care staff member, he was often called upon to help maintain the residences. This experience helped show him how he could use those gifts and talents in service to others.

  Today, Chalie is a fully licensed and insured electrician with nearly 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial electrical work. He takes pride in helping people and enjoys finding practical solutions to everyday challenges.

  When he's not working, Chalie loves spending time with his family, especially at the beach or swimming. He's also a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan—Go Birds!

  Chalie is excited to use his experience and hands-on skills to help keep our school safe, well maintained, and a place where students, teachers, and families can thrive.
